YOU CANNOT SERVE TWO MASTERS AT ONCE

When we are mentally still and at peace with ourselves, both consciously and emotionally, the mind becomes receptive to intuitional insight and inspiration. Intuition comes through the awareness of the subconscious, imbuing the inner 'I' with its essence, in order to be made conscious. The same inner 'I' we take or create thought with. Therefore, it is plain to see we cannot serve two masters at once. We are either going to serve ourselves as mind/body and navigate life through taking thought from the mental realm or alternatively we will commit to being mentally still (Meditation) and allow intuition to be given from the Spiritual realm which acts upon our mind guiding us throughout life. Thought then will be inspired and flow with a feeling of righteousness that is impersonal - not Self-righteous which is personal. These thoughts will come as a 'knowing' exactly what to do, say, think or be in any given situation, without having to carefully deliberate via thinking.

Thought taken from the mental realm is both different in quality and quantity than thought given from the Spiritual Realm. Thought taken from the mental realm serves only the person and is quite often taken at the expense of the whole. Thought given from the Spiritual Realm serves not only the person but the whole always in all ways for they are One and the same. Intuition is given in Faith, which is the mother of belief, therefore when it comes, it comes without any doubt attached or anxiety attached to it. You know it is right, right down to your bones, even if you cannot logically account for it. Reason and logic will always run parallel to the truth, however at some point the truth will supersede reason for the mind is limited whereas the truth is not. Rather than think 95% of the time, we think 5% of the time, while listening (being present) 95%.

'Remember when Peter spoke in tongues, all nations heard? Nations stand for the qualities of both the higher and lower nature. They "gathered together" and all "heard" (directly perceived) their own tongue (understanding). This was after the Holy spirit came in the "upper room" of the mind' - Josh Tilghman

The Subconscious mind after being purified, allows the Conscious mind aka Inner I to rest within her Awareness. Our Consciousness as thought, then starts to become conscious of ourselves as Awareness. This Awareness deepens into the Present Moment, the Incarnate Soul and then the fullness of Soul that is embodied by our true Consciousness as Spirit. It is only then that the Consciousness of mind merges with the Consciousness of Spirit and Self-realization is experienced. Mind Consciousness can ONLY merge with Spiritual Consciousness (true Self) through Awareness aka Soul. Sometimes referred to in the bible as Water.

When Spirit or our higher self speaks to us intuitively, it speaks in our own language. Some hear the word audibly and some visually. Some hear the word spoken in French and some English. Some hear in silence. The truth speaks to us in our own language. We then in turn translate that language into our own words and style of speaking or writing so that we can communicate with others.

To use a favourite analogy of mine, the Inner I or Conscious Mind, works like the epiglottis that alternatively works for either the lungs or the stomach depending on the bodies need. While serving the stomach the epiglottis holds itself in an upright position. When serving the lungs, it sits in a downward position. Likewise with the Inner I aka Conscious Mind which is what we use to think with. While serving the ego it is down, cut off from Spirit like a branch from the vine. This state of mind is the thinking mind. It serves only itself.

While serving Spirit the Inner I is in a Being mode, holding a still meditative mind that is conscious of one's Awareness aka Soul that brings 'word' from Spirit. The mind then processes what it has received from the right mind via the left or lower mind which starts analysing or interpreting incoming information which is then translated and given over to the subconscious to embody and enact. This may seem like two different acts however it is one, for the listener and the talker are One. It is a flow like osmosis from high concentration to low concentration in order to balance and maintain the integrity of the multidimensional Word (Spiritual idea) both given and received. This intuition could inspire writing, talking, painting or it could direct mountain climbing in which one is inspired to put their hands and feet in the next position to keep one from falling off the side of the mountain.

In order for our true Consciousness as Spirit to come into the world it must have a Mind- Consciousness that is receptive to the Awareness (Soul) of Thy Self. The inner I (Conscious mind that creates thought) must be still and receptive within its own Awareness that constitutes both its subconscious and Present Moment. This means it cannot be rising in its own self-created (egoic) thought that gives rise to unnatural emotions and false manifestations. If the consciousness of mind is distracted by its own creations it will not become Consciousness of the true Self behind it. It would be the same as one being mesmerized by their favourite celebrity, while someone sneaks in and grabs the wallet from their purse. You are too distracted to be conscious of the true Self when you are caught up in your own thought creations.

This is why we must quieten and still the mind. It is the only way to become conscious of ourselves as Awareness aka Soul. And it is not until we know Soul, that we will become Conscious of and One with our true Self as Spirit.
