THE TEN COMMANDMENTS

The bible was never meant to be taken literally or used as a history book. It is highly veiled and symbolic. It is allegory and meant to be interpreted metaphysically least its beautiful and profound wisdom be lost.

The Ten Commandments are symbolic of instructional behaviours that if adhered to give us the right to permanently occupy the Promised Land through the realization of the Christ or Zen Consciousness.

Below is the esoteric & metaphysical understanding of The Ten Commandments.

I AM THE LORD THY GOD. THOU SHALL NOT HAVE ANY GODS BEFORE ME

This is a command to keep thy mind completely attentive to and in one's awareness of being NOW. To always be present with the Lord (Spirit) which is first found through one's subconscious awareness that is Present Moment Awareness, leading to the Spiritual realms. It is to be conscious of your divine Awareness (Soul) first and foremost, always in all ways. It is the most pivotal and fundamental point to life. It is to realize and live in and as the true Self (Cause) and put it before all else (Effect). It is a command to stay in your temple (Present Moment Awareness) 24/7 so that you as mind; the son of God, may receive God's word or light. God being your Spirit and the Spirit of All.

THOU SHALT NOT MAKE UNTO THEE GRAVEN IMAGES

This commandment is telling us again to keep the mind still and to take no thought. Thoughts are graven images, that are taking from our own Inner I that is meant to channel Spirit. When we partake from the universal mind aka Tree of Knowledge, we fall from grace into the realm of duality and limitation: The mental realm where graven images are created egoically.

THOU SHALT NOT TAKE THE NAME OF THE LORD IN VAIN

Everyone on earth, in their own language refer to themselves as "I am" which incidentally is the name of God in the bible (One cannot make a concept or false image of I AM). The conscious mind - our 'I am-ness' which is our Inner I is meant to serve your Spirit as a channel, not your mind in the formation of thought. To take Spirits name in vain means to take and use this light - this power for personal use, instead of the true Self otherwise known as Spirit. In other words, you do not take thought from the mental realm - it must always be given from the Spiritual realm where all is ONE and ONE is all. Thought when given from the Spiritual realm is singular and highly claircognizant.

REMEMBER THE SABBATH DAY AND TO KEEP IT HOLY

This means to set aside time to be alone with Thy true Self the Lord thy God (Spirit) - the great I AM knowing that life is already created and fulfilled. All we need do as mind is reveal it (Not create it via thought). The sabbath day is also a day, time or hour, one recharges their batteries so to speak and to wipe the dust (world thought and feeling) from one's feet as Paul termed it. It is easy to get lost in the world of form, so it is necessary to put time aside for direct contemplative meditation (outside of mindfulness) as the formless One. To always draw upon the I (Keep thine "I" eye single) rather than the outer world for instruction at all times. This commandment is basically a commandment to keep one's Inner I clear of debris aka thought.

HONOUR THY MOTHER AND FATHER

This means to honour both the spirit (male aspect of mind - conscious) and the Soul (female aspect of mind - subconscious). To keep them balanced, in harmony and working together so that the Holy Ghost descends into our worldly affairs from our true Self as Spirit being Soul. The Spirit, Soul and the Holy Ghost is The Holy Trinity.

THOU SHALT NOT KILL

Means thou shalt not work against life but always with it. Do not resist the present moment but flow with it giving it your light - your love - your life; by allowing Spirit to work through you without the contamination and inhibiting force of egoic thought. Thou shall not kill Spirit by taking thought from the mental realm, preventing the Spiritual flowing out into the world.

The Cain and Able story depict perfectly this Commandment; The ego (Cain) kills his brother, our Higher nature (Abel) “in the field” or in the mental realm

THOU SHALT NOT COMMIT ADULTERY

Means you should never put the mental realm before the spiritual realm. Thou will not cheat thy true Self as Spirit by lowering oneself to the mental realm of egoic thought. That you shall never pray to an image (thought) of the truth over the experience of truth itself. Your first love should always be the truth (Cause) within your Being - never Effect (mind). You are Cause and when your temporary form as Effect withers and dies you return to the Cause of your non-physical being. Never put any person place or thing of the world before this truth.

THOU SHALT NOT STEAL

Again, thou shalt not steal the light from above to serve what is below on a personal and egoic level. To use your spiritual light to serve the ego by misusing the Inner I (conscious mind) - the mental realm by entertaining ideas or false images is to steal what is not yours and render unto the world an egoic manifestation. An abomination.

THOU SHALT NOT BEAR FALSE WITNESS AGAINST THY NEIGHOUR

Means you should never judge your neighbour based on thoughts and judgments perceived and taken from the mental realm of false images. This is to bear false witness. Having not risen to Self-Realization yourself, your judgments are false images that you judge your neighbour with. Your neighbour who in the spiritual realm is your true Self does not deserve this irrespective of their physical appearance. To see your neighbour as anything other than your own true Being is to bear false witness

THOU SHALT NOT COVERT THY NEIGHBOURS GOODS.

In other words, do not look for your abundance in worldly effect for you will be living off yesterday's manna. You ARE abundance. The spirit within will lead you to what you have need of in this world. To look for abundance as an egoic mind is to admit you are cut off from your Source - your true Self and now seek it in the outer-world of Effect rather than the inner-world of Cause. In other words, thou shalt not use Effect to create Effect. One must always look within as Cause for their abundance aka added things.
