Over time, as one incarnation rolls into another, Spirit evolves and expands in both consciousness and awareness, eventually demonstrating the fullness of one's true self as Spirit in the Flesh. You could liken this to Michael Angelo chipping away at a stone block one lifetime after another to eventually reveal an angel. The principle is the same.
Throughout every lifetime, both individually and collectively, our species has evolved and continues to evolve from a single cell organism, that only knew itself as a reactionary physical being with no self-awareness at all, to what we are now. At one point in time, as a species, we had no idea a whole other realm of being existed within our evolutionary potential, such as the mental realm. Likewise, we are once again at another pivotal point in our evolution whereupon we discover another realm of being heretofore we never knew existed: the Spiritual realm. This expansion of consciousness will completely change our reality and how we view it.
The why of it all? Why evolve and into what? It really is anyone’s guess. In my own personal opinion, who as an individual, does not like to see and experience their dreams coming true? I see no reason why this would not be so collectively as well - as one mind, one soul, one Spirit. We love to dream, and this world is definitely that - a dream. A dream that comes true when we wake up in it. Imagine if you were lucid (awake) in your own dreams at night. You would have complete control and never want to wake. The purpose for life is creation and love for that is what we are. The purpose is to live for we are life.
In my opinion it would not be insensible nor unreasonable to liken the mental and physical realms as being a simple dream of Spirit. A dream that one desperately tries to wake up in. Everyone knows lucid dreaming is infinitely preferrable to being swayed this way and that in a dream or nightmare completely out of our control, just as it is preferrable to be the master of the house rather than its servant.
It is now our time as a species within our evolution to become a lucid dreamer. to wake up in this dream come nightmare. To wake up to the truth of our Beingness that goes beyond this dream into reality. A reality we are not conscious of yet. The time has come to be true to ourselves, dreaming the dream of Spirit rather than the two-dimensional dream of Ego.
