LETTING THINE I SHINE

Awareness is everything. Awareness is Soul and Soul is the formless body or activity of Spirit aka Consciousness.

Spirit or your true Self is Nonconceptual Consciousness (I) being Undifferentiated Awareness (am). The Soul is the activity of Spirit aka Consciousness and is sometimes referred to as Undifferentiated Awareness. That is all it is. The mind was born in the image of Soul (am) being Spirit (I). The Conscious mind is Adam (Vessel Consciousness) and Eve is the subconscious (Vessel Awareness). Adam or the Consciousness mind is the vessel for Spirit and Eve is the subconscious mind and the vessel for Soul.

When the I am of the mind merges or aligns with the I am of Spirit we are said to be Self Realized. That 'All' is the foundation in and of everything. This is why Jesus said, "Even though I am IN (invisible) this world I am not of it (visible)". This is why the Tao advocates staying in the moment as pure awareness. Zen & Buddhists too btw. Zen advocates not differentiating (naming or conceptualizing) anything and letting the whole of life be what it is without judgment or discernment. In other words, let the mind fall into a state of being that is contusive to aligning with Spirit rather than a state of thinking that veils Spirit.

As Spirit (I) being Soul (am), you are omnipotent, omnipresent & omniscient. However, at this moment in time, you, as mind or as an incarnate Mind-Soul, are limited by the thinking mind/form and therefore, do not comprehend the full magnitude of your beingness. The thinking mind is a container, and it has contained your formless beingness to form. Only the Being mind transcends form. Due to not being consciously aware of your FULL self in this respect, you cannot manifest the fruits of Spirit in life. The mind cannot create what it is not conscious of obviously. Instead of creating the heavenly consciousness of Spirit, it will create the hell that is mind cut off from its Source. This is what our world at this point in our evolution represents; the egoic mind.

At this point in time, Awareness will only be a mental concept to you until you actually experience yourself as Awareness, which is why metaphysical teachers and gurus alike, will advocate watching your feelings and thoughts. By watching them, you will realize you cannot be them which in turn helps with the realization that you are the Awareness behind them. Thought/s is the vessel Consciousness/Spirit, that rolls out of the Soul like a wave from the sea. You will feel yourself to be this I thought - this I am-ness even though it is not really you but a vessel for your true Consciousness/Spirit that sits behind the Awareness of Soul. The I- thought must stay still in its own subconscious awareness until this one's subconscious awareness merges into the Awareness of Soul allowing one to realize the true Self as Spirit which directs the Soul. In this way the two I am's met as One: I am that I am.

Presently you can only imagine Awareness and imagination conjured up by the ego is not real. And if it's not real, it's not satisfying. You will always be wanting more. More knowledge, more this and more that. Would you prefer to imagine having a coffee or have the actual experience of drinking the coffee? This is the difference between thinking in the moment and actually being in it. One is theory and one is experience. You don't want to carry on imaging God, do you? No of course you don't - you want the experience of BEING God. You should settle for nothing less! The age of believing is over. The age of knowing is here.

In your present state of consciousness, as ego, disconnected from your source, all you are doing is bringing forth mental concepts created by a mind that does not know itself as Spirit. They are thoughts aka false images created by an ignorant mind. You are bringing forth into manifestation, false images. Images born of a mind that is unconscious of its true Self as Awareness, as Consciousness. A mind that does not know reality at all.

A true image is one born of spirit. Inspired by Spirit. Tuition from Spirit aka Intuition. A true image is born of a mind conscious of itself through experience (being) as Spirit. Not in theory, not in imagination, but through the actual experience of 'being' Spirit aka The Present Moment or Life in its totality. Thinking is always outside the moment while being is always inside of the Now AS The Now. When one is consciously aware of being Now - not in thought but in the actual experience of Now, this is living. Not asleep in thought, imagining what it might eternity or infinity for both might be like.

If you want to experience yourself as Spirit aka Truth - your true Self, you have to become nothing & nobody mentally. One must become impersonal through the personal. You have to drop the personal sense of identity for the impersonal. The personal is only brought about through 'thinking'. No thinking means no personal self. Who or what are you when thinking stops? Who or what are you without all your memories? Who or what are you without the vessel of mind? Ontologically speaking, what mode is more natural for the mind? Thinking of being? What are the differences and what different realities do they bring forth?

The mind/body is for the revelation of Spirit. Not to create a personal sense of self via thinking. Your present awareness has to expand beyond the visible & into the invisible. The mind, which you presently identify with can't do that while it is caught up giving away its attention - its very life and presence of being, to mental concepts aka thinking. One cannot be in two places at once. One is either 'being' in the mental realm through taking thought or being in the Spiritual realm through the meditative 'being' mind.

Equating existence with thinking, with physical form is a dead-end street. It leads to death and suffering & rebirth and more of the same - continually chewing on your own tail. You must become aware of yourself as Spirit. Once you do all the trivial concerns of the mind and body will cease to bother you, any more than the plot or ending of a movie. Once you realize you are dreaming and that this dreaming can never affect your true beingness you can let life be whatever it wants to be. Each lifetime will be like a change of costume, rather than the tragedy it is perceived as today. Besides once you know yourself as Spirit, your movie will change from a horror to a drama and a comedy - a musical - a love story!

At the moment you are only experiencing yourself as a mind and body (A thinker) so you only know yourself as a mental concept that has a body attached to it. Now understand that just because this is all you know or are conscious of, doesn't mean that is all there is to know & be conscious of. Clearly the thinking mind can only give us a certain level of consciousness. In order to become more conscious, clearly the mind must be used differently.

Being is the new thinking.

Be conscious of being awareness, but don't let this awareness fall into thinking. You do this by focusing the mind. In focusing the mind, you keep thought single rather than plural. The conscious mind is attention. If kept still, it will morph into awareness which will expand in time into deeper dimensions of being. This takes faith as it takes time. One has to know they are holding the right mindset and not wasting their time, otherwise one gives up without experiencing the true Self.

Be conscious of the sounds around you, the smells, the textures, the feel of your body. Be aware of how you are feeling in response to your thoughts. Be aware of yourself beyond thought and feeling. Don't think about it though. Just be aware. Be aware of everything but give nothing any thought. Can you do that? Yes of course you can. You do it every day, without realizing it. You do not think 24/7. There are times you just witness life go by. Do that as much as you can. In time your consciousness will expand, and you will honestly experience yourself as - well a happiness that will leave you not caring if you eat or sleep or - well anything. It is indescribable. It will keep you in perfect peace.

Your goal is to be so deeply in the moment that you lose yourself in it and become the moment itself. As soon as the personal sense of self is lost the impersonal will reveal itself and you will know yourself as Life living itself. You will have arrived home to yourself.
