The mind, being the Omega, is like a mirror being constructed by the true Self as the Alpha beyond the veil of the thinking mind. Karma is the construction process - the law by which all live. Lifetime after lifetime, as our Karma balances the mind, the mirror gets clearer and clearer, revealing the image of the true Self as the Alpha to the Omega, until one day it is finally seen by the Omega. In Self-Realization we lay down our life as Mind (Omega) only to take it up again as Spirit (Alpha), thereby mastering the mind. I am the Alpha and the Omega. The beginning and the end.
Here Jesus speaks of it…
"For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face: now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known." - 1 Corinthians 13:12
For now we see through a glass, darkly; (The mirror is hard to see through as it is in darkness, so we falsely identify as the mind, rather than the creator of it, due to being Spiritually blind - an underdeveloped mind/mirror), but then as karma unfolds, we learn to see face to face: The Omega sees its face in the Alpha - now I know in part; The Mind (Omega) recognizes the Spirit (Alpha) but then shall I know (As Spirit) even as also I am known (As mind).
Can you see why the mind must be a still as a clear lake? It cannot see itself until the mind is completely clear and I am not just talking about the Conscious Mind staying present in and as Present Moment Awareness. The Subconscious (Reflection of Soul) MUST be purified and balanced, for if it is not, the Conscious Mind (The bringer of Light) cannot rest within it and make conscious what is unconscious.
