See how the Mind's Eye (I) goes outwards towards objects such as feelings, thoughts etc. This is what you do not want to do. You want to stop being aware of these 'things' - these 'objects' and defocus. Bring you focus back home and just be aware of being 'Awareness'. So hold ONE thought which IS Awareness. If this thought being held (Which is meditation btw) divides itself into 2 thoughts or more you fall back into Mind-Consciousness and out of Spiritual-Consciousness. You go from being a knower (Spiritual-Consciousness) to a thinker (Mind-Consciousness). Just be aware without thinking. This Awareness of the Human Soul will eventually be swallowed up (Merge with) by the Awareness of the true eternal Soul.
