Beyond the appearance is the Mind which is either reflecting the truth or not. The truth is you are Spirit - that is omnipotent, omnipresent and omniscient. The realized see it and know it as themselves, the unrealized see only the appearance. Love is seeing with the I, not the eyes. When you see a person as they truly are - through the I of love, you teach them to see themselves in the same light - in the same way.
