For about 3 months of the year, we feel motivated to meditate and/or practice mindfulness. Then one day 3 months a year turns into 6, then perhaps a few months or even years later, 6 months turns into 9. We are made aware to bring our mind back to the present moment every few weeks until it becomes every few hours etc. This is the foundation of Spiritual practice - bringing the mind back home to the moment every time it wanders off until one day it does not wander at all, allowing ones Consciousness to concentrate so deeply it falls in on itself revealing aspects of our Being that heretofore, until this point, we were unconscious of. We realize a dimension of our being that completely alters our understanding and experience of reality.
