Realization of the Self can only be experienced through the I of your being. The true Self can never be known by the egoic mind that takes its knowledge from the senses. The true Self can only be known through and as the I of your Being that sees and is known through claircognizance aka Faith. This same 'I' is what you use to create your thoughts with. Here then is your 'apparent' choice for the mind cannot serve two masters: Create life yourself as a Mind cut off from its Source Aka Spiritual Consciousness (Egoically) or hold a meditative mind (Christ or Zen Mind) which unveils and purifies the Mind allowing Spiritual Consciousness to be realized by mind consciousness, thereby reflecting and projecting the true Self into manifestation rather than the Ego.
